Born in the 1970s with the notion of Ecodevelopment, the concept evolved towards Sustainable Development, then Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). Today we even speak of Corporate Social Responsibility. At the same time, the corresponding standards and regulations appeared.
Experts and governments have made these subjects their own, in a context of economic and industrial events such as the oil shocks and the evolution of the world population, but also of environmental disasters that have marked history.
From the 1980s, companies joined this movement to make it today a lever for improvement and performance.
During this period, Aximum changed its management to adapt to its market and its economic, social, environmental and societal context, by constantly relying on its employees through certification procedures and normative and regulatory recognition. Aximum establishments are ISO 9001 (since 2003), ISO 14001 (since 2009) and OHSAS 18001 (since 2011) certified.
